Dual Immersion Kindergarten
A Place Where Young Scholars Thrive.

Ages 5 to 6 years old

At La Casita Day School (LCDS), we are committed to igniting a child's curiosity and passion for learning. Our expert educators and staff carefully design diverse learning activities tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of each child. Our curriculum extends beyond conventional standards by embracing a holistic approach that nurtures the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional dimensions of every student. As a result, LCDS graduates are exceptionally well-equipped to thrive in any academic environment.

Furthermore, instruction at LCDS is primarily conducted in Spanish, enabling students to spend 90 percent of their time learning in Spanish and 10 percent in English. This method fosters bilingual proficiency from an early age.

Additionally, our kindergarten STREAM program integrates Science, Technology, Relationships, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into a cohesive curriculum. This approach not only champions academic excellence through interactive and hands-on experiences but also places a strong emphasis on developing social skills and emotional intelligence by incorporating 'Relationships' into the core subjects. Our STREAM program is designed to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills, preparing children to meet both intellectual and interpersonal challenges ahead. At LCDS, we strive to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and empowered to excel.

Sparkle4.gif

We are proud to have a fun and safe space for kids to play and learn. For that to happen we have a special recipe for success. Please contact us if you have any questions about the list below.

1.

A minimum of 5 years of age by September 1st. An exception can be made with a student assessment.

2.

All children must be vaccinated unless there is a medical exemption.

3.

Parents must fill out the required California State forms.

4.

All children are assessed. The student assessment is an opportunity for us to get to know your child and make sure the program is a good fit for them. The assessment is scheduled when the application, state forms, and vaccination records are received.

5.

Children must be potty trained. For a drama-free potty training experience, we recommend this book

6.

When a student is approved for the program a non-refundable deposit and non-refundable registration fee secures their spot.

I can't believe this is our 4th (!!!) and final graduation with you. Your friendship and guidance over the last few years have meant the world to me. Thank you for taking such great care of all of us.

Love, Nicki & the boys
